Pocket Writers App Reviews

I really enjoy Pocket Writers. It is a wonderful place to get your ideas out. I personally have written (well started) many stories, that I have wanted feedback on. Pocket writers is perfect to make friends, and write stories with other people. It has the occasional bug here an there, but is a fast, quick app. You rarely have to update it (I dont know if its ever been updated) and its really convenient. It is sort of like Wattapad. But I like Pocket Writers, because I could download it. My iPod is a little old. Overall, I give Pocket Writers a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating. Thanks! This app is great for young authors who want to publish their work and get reviews, and is also good for seeing what others are writing.

This app is great for writing and participating with the writing community, one thing I would suggest though is to put 18+ warnings on comments and fix the chapter posting lag

This is a really good app with some small flaws. A lot of RP stories and fan fiction and most are pretty good. No real search function which doesnt make much sense on a sight like this making it hard to find specific authors but once you find them you can follow and like there stories. I would suggest this app for anyone with a pension to tell stories or read some.

I really liked this app when I first got it. It allowed me to write stories and to save them and have people comment on them, which for me was really nice. It gave me more of a motivation to write. But after about a year, it stopped allowing me to add new stories. I can still add on to old stories but I cant write new ones and that is really disappointing. It makes me sad that I cant post new stories because I had a few good ideas, but I just dont have the motivation without this app.

this app is great. I just wish it could be updated to a newer version soon.

Ever since I can remember Ive loved writing and with this app I can really express it and let others read it. I love it when my stories show up in the editors picks because that means they like it too! ;-) ;-)

This app aint gonna get better foo, so dont bother asking for fixes. It aint gonna happen. Them makers are gone.

Comments and chapters and other things on your profile wont load/update. It just needs a small update to get these things going again. Unless it gets an update soon I dont find it very good anymore.

Theres a few glitches. I honestly love it even though Im a serious writer and this is more causal, but it is awesome because I can take on more stories. Overall its a great app.

Im officially in love with this app! Im so thankful to be able to put my stories out there in a touch of a button! And my stories are always there for me to go off of! Everyone who wants to be an author or anyone who likes to write!

If you like writing and/or reading peoples writings then get this app. Theres only a few minor things I dont like but other then that, its a wonderful app.

This is definitely a 5-star app. But, I do have a few things to say. The search feature wont search anything, and sometimes my drafts wont stop loading, so I cant access them. But its still an amazing app!

This place used to be amazing,Ive been there since 2012,but now it no longer works.

Ive been using his app since early 2013, and because of my sentimentality, Ill continue to do so. However, this once perfect app has fallen from grace. The developing company, Peapple, went out of business in early 2014, and since then this app has degraded slowly. With each iOS update the usability of this app withers just a bit more, and soon it will not work at all. More than half the features do not work anymore, including several that are key to the apps purpose. The majority of the community has left, although some writers (such as myself remain). If youre looking for a good app to write with, search elsewhere. You wont find one here anymore. But if youre looking for a place to dump ideas every now and then, look no further.

I love this app, I really do. the community is a genuinely happy place to be, and the people are so amazing, although if my friend asked for the best writing app I have, my first thought would defiantly not be Pocket Writers. maybe its because I want the app all to myself. or maybe its because the makers of the app have completely abandoned it. I love the app, its my life. I could never leave. its a great place for RPing or getting some new friends. but WattPad is a much better place for more. . .serous writers.

This app is great for writing but they could have some better things added to it. I absolutely love this app compared to other apps I have tried and this is definitely my favorite.

Its a great app, I like that I can write stories, review other stories, read other stories. As with many great apps there are problems- the profile picture wont even stay permanent you leave your profile screen after leaving a profile file pic, your back, its gone. Another issue is the fact locks need to be bought, So I need to get powers to use my powers on my own stories, ok then. I have noticed the loading of drafts can crash the app, that can get annoying. Lastly, I have also noticed theres no way to delete comments, I would like to be able to remove...those one comments that nobody likes.

I spent so much time on here a few years ago, but I was disappointed when I downloaded it again and found out the reason I quit hadnt been fixed. I cant change my profile picture, I can try again but it usually never works
